It all started when we met at a super bowl party we both were invited to attend. At first, Cassy was not thrilled with the idea of leaving the Lambert Household on a Sunday during the infamous weekly event of family dinner. Similarly, Jairo was debating if watching a “Football” game on a late Sunday night was a good idea. After debating back and forth in both their heads, they decided to go and, now thinking about it,

what a great decision.

As the night began, a friendly competitive game of Left, Right, Center began. For those of you who know Cassy, you know she is beyond competitive. In the mist of arguing that a peer was cheating … a tall, tan man with beautiful teeth and a backwards hat came in. Jairo instantly caught cassy’s eye and from the moment she heard his Colombian accent say, “hello,” she fell in love. As she openly made it known to all of their friends she was interested, they eagerly attempted to provide opportunities for the two to mingle. However, in Jairo’s perspective it may not be as obvious as Cassy will say. The two mingled throughout the night in which an exchange of a handshake for a 20 dollar bet was made about if JBalvin was actually performing at halftime. Halftime came and wouldn’t you believe it, Jairo was right and won the 20 dollar bet. Little after the exchange of the winning prize, Jairo made his way out of the party. Shortly after that night, Cassy squealed of joy to a friend request on Instagram from the one and only Jairo Bustos.

Fast forward a month in which NJ went into a statewide lock down. While Jairo and her friends worked the frontline with full PPE everyday… Cassy was living the remote at home life. It wasn’t until her best friend posted a group picture of them at work in which Cassy said, “Is that Jairo!? Wow he’s gorgeous you know what I’m going to message him. It’s not like I’ll see him ever again.” She fgrew the courage to message him, “how do you make PPE look so good”… and from that moment on the rest is history.
